Stand Up Pale Ale Release

Divine Barrel Brewing and NoDa Brewing Company joined forces to brew a special beer - Stand Up Pale Ale - for Together We Stand NC's 2023 Maud 2.23 events happening throughout North Carolina from February 18-25. THE EVENT Maud 2.23 is a 2.23-mile run in honor and remembrance of Ahmaud Arbery. Together We Stand's goal is to bring our community together and call out racism and injustice in order to unite us all toward hope in the future. NoDa Brewing's event is on February 19th and Divine Barrel's run is on February 23rd. THE BEER Tyrone Irby, founder of Together We Stand NC and certified Hop Head, wanted a beer that satisfied his hoppy taste but was accessible to everyone after they finish running 2.23 miles. Chad, head brewer of NoDa Brewing, and Ben, head brewer at Divine Barrel, brewed just that with Stand Up, a double dry hopped Pale Ale sitting right at 5.4% ABV. This gluten-reduced beer will be available at both taprooms in time for their Maud runs.
