Thiol-Ice is a Cold IPA brewed by our Director of Operations, Matt Virgil. It's one of the 13 beers brewed by the 13 members of our production crew for our 13th anniversary on October 26th!
This 6.8% ABV Cold IPA is crisp, clear, and hop-forward, with grapefruit and passionfruit notes. It was brewed primarily with Pilsner and Wheat malt, double dry-hopped with Galaxy, Motueka, and Nectaron hops, and fermented on Lunar Crush yeast from Omega. Like the beers in our SLURP series, it's fortified with thiols to bring out those juicy, fruity notes.
