NoDa Brewing Co. Launches Poured with Purpose Charitable Giving Campaign

November 1, 2024

NoDa Brewing Co. is excited to announce the launch of its new charitable giving campaign, Poured with Purpose. Through this initiative, we aim to make a positive impact on the community by supporting local nonprofit organizations that align with our core Pillars of Giving: promoting mental and physical well-being, fostering inclusive spaces, protecting the environment, and strengthening community ties.

On Tuesdays, for every pint ordered in our taproom, patrons will receive a $1 token to contribute to one of four featured local charities at our Impact Wall. At the end of each trimester, all participating charities will receive the donations collected by our patrons, with the organization receiving the most tokens earning an additional match up to $500 from NoDa Brewing Co. Patrons can also purchase extra tokens, allowing them to increase their support.

For the first round of donations, we are focusing on charitable programs that directly support the relief efforts in Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene's devastating impact. These organizations were chosen for their critical role in providing immediate aid, resources, and long-term support to the affected communities.

Together with our patrons, NoDa Brewing Co. is proud to stand with these organizations as they work to rebuild and bring hope to those in need.

  • Manna FoodBank: involve, educate, and unite people in the work of ending hunger in Western North Carolina. MANNA collects, stores, warehouses, and distributes food to dedicated, accredited nonprofit partners throughout 16 counties in Western North Carolina, including the Qualla Boundary.

  • BeLoved Asheville: bring together Black, Indigenous, Latinx, People of Color (BIPOC), and people of low wealth to work toward creating a more just and equitable society. Advocates, activists, artists, and allies are invited to join this important journey to build a brighter future for all in the mountain home through the power of compassion, community, creativity, and equity.

  • United Way of Asheville & Buncombe County: mobilize and support a robust network of people, partners, and resources to co-create opportunities for every person in our community to live free from poverty and injustice. They focus on improving education, health, and financial stability for all community members.

  • Mountain Projects: empower individuals and families in WNC, helping them achieve self-sufficiency and overcome economic challenges by promoting independence and self-sufficiency. The organization focuses on improving the social, economic, and health conditions of the communities it serves, offering programs in areas such as housing, senior services, early childhood education, and workforce development.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are accepting nominations on a rolling basis for our next round of donations. Eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits can apply through our website https://www.nodabrewing.com/impact-apply. NoDa Brewing Co. remains committed to making our community healthier, more inclusive, and more sustainable for all.
